The bigger problem IMO is that this was not preseason, it was early-season

We actually looked like a legit top 20 team for about 6 weeks. We have several good wins, and the one early loss was a road game against what appears to be the top non-major team this year. So IMO it's not about false confidence from preseason hype, it's about a team that has fallen apart in the last 4 weeks.
