I'm probably in the minority, but I think that Basile is a pretty decided

downgrade to Aluma. He's a much better shooter - no question, but he doesn't run the offense, he's a lot worse with his back to the basket on both O and D. And he's overall, a much worse defender at or away from the basket. I think some of that will be mitigated by the depth at the position. If Rice ends up being ready to play against the ACC as a PG, then even more of the issues are mitigated, but he's still overall a downgrade from Aluma.
