I have asked this question a couple of times in similar ways? If we find a

portal kid or two that would come if we had more money, can Mike Young legally contact a friendly donor and take a check if the donor wants to contribute? Would that violate the terms of our current retainee’s or portal signees who may have accepted their offers within the budget we had at the time? Hopefully, no players or others know exactly what anyone makes, or what the budget is, because that could be a cancer. This is a perplexing situation to understand because there don’t be seem to be many rules but we seem to be bound to a defined ceiling-no matter what.
