Outside of everything that has been laid out before, the game itself had 82.5 possessions for each team The nations leader in possessions per game last season was Alabama at 78.5 poss/game Virginia Tech typically plays in the mid-60s, playing a little faster last year (mostly a large gain in off rebs) at 68.5 poss/game There was no effort to play game-ready lineups. They didnt coach the game to be game-ready, and it was more of a show for a crowd than anything. They will take the film and be able to break down WHY certain things happen in game situations that dont happen in practice. But for fans there is next to nothing to be taken from the game. Not even the positives from BHam or the 3pt shooting. It just isnt going to be the same as an actual game look.
