But I have not seen practices to know how well / poorly Jones was picking up the O and D system or how concerning his injury is for the long term. I’ll give benefit of doubt to his departure. Rech had to go IMO. Between he and Hammond, Hammond has the higher ceiling. Ben’s TOs can be chalked up to being a freshman whereas, Rech’s continued into his second year. Hammond also brings badly needed defensive steals to the table. Big Pat was a serviceable backup on a bad team and his ceiling is likely a serviceable backup on a good team. Hard worker but you can only do so much to hide slow. RBJr seemed to be in the serviceable backup category as well. I was hoping we would keep one of the Jaden/Jaydons but not both. Currently, each is good enough to be a spark off the bench for a good team so you go with who has the higher ceiling but likely would be a risk to try to develop and keep both happy. The fun part starts soon to see who we start bringing in.
