Here goes: My perfect scenario would be for CMY to be given enough money to keep 4-5 of the current roster for 25-26 and bring in some portal help that can actually make a difference. Not predicting that but at least for me, that would be the ideal situation. IF CMY finds out next season's money won't be much better than this year, and he says "that's it, I'm done". Would Ryan Odum be a viable candidate for the job, would he be on a list for HC or would he decide to stay at VCU? If not Odum, any other names of "lesser candidates" pop up? Again, I hope CMY is given the financial tools to field a mid tier program but it's difficult to see that happening without an about face in the AD. Sorry for the length.
