I am giving our team a Rodney Rice pass this year

There is no question this team has missed him big time this year. Most teams have three ball handlers on the court these days that are also a threat to score or break down a defense. I am not blaming Rice for leaving and I am not blaming our coaches for Rice leaving. It is just an unfortunate situation that has taken a toll on this years record. The team is giving us the best they got. The other teams are just deeper at the guard position than we are. Pedulla and Cattoor are two of the best VT guards ever. MJ is a terrific backup and is playing his role well. Rechsteiner will take time. Young looks like he has a nice shot and in time could be a nice player.
