Q about the last C of C possession

They had the ball with 25 sec and the score tied. We let Robinson kill all but 3 sec as he drove the basket and score. I wonder if it would have made sense to immediately and aggressively go for a steal or, foul and put him on the line with appx 20 sec left. No matter if he makes both, we still have 20 sec to go down and score to win or tie. To let him run down the clock and leave only 3 sec limited our chances to win IMO. What do you think?
