Wichita is very underrated

Son in law stationed there and have been there a bunch. Tons of parks, really nice zoo and safari park, beautiful botanical garden, tons of kid related stuff like splash pads, water parks etc. Super friendly people to boot... Issue of course is its in the middle of NOWHERE Koch, Gulfstream, Boeing, Archer Daniels all have big operations there and put money back in to the town. If I had smaller kids I'd chose it over Roanoke (where we live) in a heartbeat.
