Even if MY wants that type of 4/5 on the roster, it may not changed the

assumption that VT can't afford a starter and a backup that fits that mold. If VT can only afford a starter (not factoring in that MY may want 2 starters for each position), then MY may have created a backup problem for himself because he couldn't "afford" to keep Gurdak too. Hence why I said the declining of the NIT is perceptually creating a walking contradiction for the program. The program acts like it is now a Cadillac Escalade, but still operates on a Yugo budget. Now if MY allowed Gurdak to walk because VT plans to spend enough money to get 3 Aluma on the roster, then that is a different story. History suggests I shouldn't have high hopes that things will play out that way. If I had to predict how things play out, then VT probably will end up with 75% version of Alumna and maybe a 50% version of Poteat. If that is the case, then questions regarding Gurdak could resurface again especially if he is thriving at his new home.
