I would say the GM should be handling mining for recruits, yes...

That can mean the traditional route or it could mean getting creative with what is technically allowed under the rules. Santa Clara was ahead of the game and some programs are following suit. The problem will be that there arent many G-Leaguers making the minimum who never enrolled in college and never declared for the draft. I think the more fruitful route is still going to be overseas, but yes the GM should be the one spearheading that creativity and connecting the dots to the right people
