I don't disagree he probably left because of money. My point was that if

VT is going to decide it is now "too big for the NIT," then money should have been the reason. Unless VT's strategy is to pay the bench on a community college budget. VT's behavior may be evolving into a walking contradiction which doesn't help the program regardless if MY is entering the final year of his contract or not. It may even be as harmful as when Weaver decided to hire Johnson as the HC. It feels likes everything associated with college basketball today may be moving at ludicrous speed and VT is still stuck in port waiting for the waitress to bring them the "special."
