In order for a school to have a 15M to 20M budget...

They would need between 12-17M in NIL alone OR They would have to weigh their revenue share to basketball much larger than what most schools are doing Most schools are allocating 15% of their 20.5 million rev share to basketball. That's about 3 million. There were zero teams in the NCAA who had a 15M budget for NIL in any season. It is much more likely to have about 7M on the NIL side and 3M in rev share and that's going to be your bigger basketball programs. Now, some basketball schools that do not have a football program could be closer to 10M in rev share and 3-5M in NIL, but that's not USC. They're all in on football, not basketball. So I am not buying they are in the 7M NIL range and they're for sure not giving Rodney Rice 33% of their entire NIL/rev share budget But people want to sensationalize and will believe literally anything
