I know you can decouple.

I was thinking people buying football season tickets can improve their football seats if they also buy basketball season tickets. What I was trying to ask is if buying basketball tickets did not improve football seats, would folks who were only interested in football, not buy basketball tickets making them available for folks who actually wanted basketball tickets.

Yes. NCAA 25 Teams, NIT 16 Teams in 1972-1973 Season. Combined, 41 Teams.
