FWIW, there is actually a ton of attention being paid to all of the

locations you mentioned at the moment. The Old Sharkey's is particularly complicated...and overall the spots you mentioned are both cumulatively problematic and individually very different circumstances. But there are town officials, business leaders, and an outside consulting firm all working on the problems you describe. Time will tell whether they can solve/improve it...but they're trying.
