Hansberry is making poor decisions on inbounds, but the 4 always throws the ball in so the only alternative is having Lawal do it...which...no One of those times where I wish Avdalas had been open to playing the 4. He could be better in those moments and it would mean he isn't the one getting fouled late game. Hammond has to manage clock and score better. I'm sure he would tell you throwing it off the backboard was dumb, but you just cant do it. Schutt looks like he doesn't even want the ball for fear of getting trapped, but he's the best shooter on the team. Avdalas has to get the ball to the rim when VT needs a bucket. Regardless of whether it's a slump, a close game, putting away an opponent whatever it is. He is being too passive. Bedford cant take that 3 late, it was a kick out against a 3-2 zone when all three perimeter defenders were above him. Have to drive the ball there.
