If they can find a way for anyone to come to the games with the tickets

that historically have gone to season ticket holders but not been used, even if it means giving the tickets away to high schools, non-profits or students, VT athletics will be better off. If nothing else, more butts in the seats looks better on TV, but those fans will buy concessions as well. The only way this doesn't work out positively for VT athletics is if season ticket holders tell VT to pound sand and fewer "memberships" get sold than season ticket packages did historically.
