The VT infirmary when I was at VT was known for its

“horse doctors” as they pretty much prescribed a white pill (probably a penicillin/antibiotic) for most of your maladies. At the time I believe there were two E/R type facilities in the area, one in Cburg and the old Radford hospital. I’m not sure how you would get to those facilities if you didn’t have a car or a friend that had one.
