Same happened to me in 79...different experience at the infirmary though.

After nearly passing out in pain from the xray process (done 3 times), was told it was just a sprain and walk it off. Went back 2 weeks later since it was getting worse. More xrays (ouch) and was told it was still a sprain. Went to Montgomery Medical Ortho 2 weeks later and the nurse looked at the xrays and said torn ligaments, why the hell have you been walking on it?! Tear had gotten much worse. Never went to the infirmary again. ** Edited by Hokies81 at 1/2/2026, 12:32:25 PM
