Half the Big XII was like this last year

and it's how they gamed the system to get so many teams in. Clearly, the committee doesn't really care that much who you play out of conference if you win your games. It would be interesting to see if the ACC could get some of the bottom teams to schedule just horrific schedules (and win, that's the important part) to get between 9-11 wins OOC so that the NET simply looks better.
