Just bizarre to me that you can't contribute to MBB directly....

...all for football getting priority, but the investment required for Hoops to be "competitive" (i.e., not at the bottom) is not $10's of millions, its what, an additional 800k-1M toward NIL. Net - I don't see how MBB is taking from the pot, they are adding to it, and what is the impact if the program drops to the bottom of the conference (empty arena, less interest = less $'s), does the AD still get that $6M surplus? I'm guessing no, but maybe VT has run the numbers and they see something else.
