Coaches that told you that are full of it. There are hundreds of kids

getting overlooked cause the rankings are released in their sophomore seasons, and most boys haven't even developed yet. So you have a list full of early-bloomers who play on shoe teams. When other boys catch up it is impossible to crack the rankings cause the scouts won't remove guys and admit they were wrong, so they just keep hyping those same 150 kids no matter what they do. Yet all anyone on this board talks about is where a hs kid falls on some ranking list that everyone knows isn't worth the paper it's written on. The contradictions in recruiting and on this board are amazing.
