I fear that, due to NIL and teams not being together for very long...

A "system coach" like MY, will find it increasingly tougher. Now, that system won us our only ACC Championship. Using a core of Wofford players and some other pieces. However, that was four years ago. In major college basketball, things have accelerated quickly in that time frame. Mike Young said early on, that he was not a big fan of AAU. Well, today's major college basketball, might as well be called AAU. When you add to this the fact that VT does not have, or refuses to spend, more money for basketball, the writing is on the wall. I think MY might go for one more season. Or, if Tech has a hire ready to go, he might well retire before Fall.
