I would not say, lazy. I would say, cheap shot, one track mind, etc.
Trying to hijack the conversation, without having to start one yourself, and steal the subject, with plausible deniability.
Not lazy, but sneaky.
Like the guy in the link below, who apparently has not posted since. (Not my business, of course, yet I can't help but wonder if he was banned.)
