I mailed it in as a fan, too.

I actually mailed it in as a fan somewhat after Lawal got hurt. I thought we'd be a borderline NCAA team with a healthy roster, so when he got hurt (and then Johnson) I didn't think we had much of a chance to make it. Obviously they've done better than I anticipated. We've been in the mix when I didn't think we would after Lawal got hurt. So from that standpoint, the team is a lot more resilient than I was as a fan this year. As far as the team itself goes, I think we've had issues for awhile going back to the preseason. Obviously we lost an assistant after the preseason began, and that's never ideal (Giltner is 17-10 at Wofford despite taking the job after practice started, so obviously he can coach). Then we parted ways with our GM (for reasons I won't get into) a few games after the season started. And then multiple injuries. So we've had too much turnover, both coaching and personnel, since practice began. So it's not too surprising that we've never fired on all cylinders.
