Your eligibility timer doesnt stop when you leave...

You have 5 years to play 4 once you enroll at an NCAA institution You can get a hardship waiver for an extra year due to injury (or covid...if you played then) but it would only apply to the year after your 5th year (or whatever subsequent year was your final year if you have multiple hardship waivers) Aluma ran out of eligibility the year after he left VT
