promised Ralph the moon if he thought it would work. As far as not starting goes, the lineup would have presented little realistic resistance to Ralph being in the first five. UVA, UNC and UK were formidable foes in his recruitment. UK fell by the wayside once they had Sam Bowie. UNC was not keen to let Ralph play away from the basket and Terry Holland and some enterprising frat boys made their feelings clear with the house that Ralph built on the U-Hall roof.
