He'll play point for VT.

Yes, he could play off the ball with another point on the court, but he'll be Virginia Tech's starting point guard next season. He'll be our tallest point under Mike Young by quite a bit. Numbers improved as the year went on, especially in terms of passing. His five best games in terms of total assists came in the last 10 games of the year. CAA Tourney stats inside... PPG: 13.4 RPG: 6.4 APG: 5.8 TOPG: 1.6 Excellent rebounding guard, too. Had one CAA Tourney game where he finished with 6 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 blocks. He doesn't shoot the 3-ball very often (57 attempts), but he brings some major strengths that we haven't had at point guard in the past, and if he gets more comfortable with the outside shot (and he will) then IMO he has a chance to be the most complete PG we have had under Young.
