Holding onto this core is imperative for VT to keep faith with the fans

If WB can’t retain a handful of basketball players, they have no prayer ever assembling a winning FB team. So building on the MBB team is a strategic imperative for the athletic department. WB needs to understand that the fans aren’t stupid. If he fails the MBB team a second year in a row, they will get up and walk out on all VT sports.

Looking at the roster, I would prioritize it as follows...
Will StewartAdmin 02/09/25 11:50 AM ET
Hammond is in my top 2
hokiepro 02/10/25 01:55 PM ET
I think that Schutt is showing to be more than just a shooter recently
win-tech 02/10/25 04:44 PM ET
Possibly but he’s not more athletic than Cattoor
hokiepro 02/10/25 05:25 PM ET
That was my top 2 before the season. So even casual observers could have
TDVick 02/10/25 03:27 AM ET
I would have pretty much exactly that...

NC Hoke 02/09/25 05:46 PM ET
Who in the possible undersized emergency PG you mention in final paragraph?**
win-tech 02/09/25 12:25 PM ET
Chance Mallory...
GCHokie34 02/09/25 12:33 PM ET
Assuming we can keep Hammond, do you think he is our starting PG next year?
win-tech 02/09/25 02:45 PM ET
I guess that depends on what is available and what Hammonds expectation is
GCHokie34 02/09/25 02:52 PM ET
how high do you see Hammond's ceiling?
Vippie1 02/10/25 09:57 AM ET
Hammond's ceiling is as high as his shot will take him
GCHokie34 02/10/25 01:11 PM ET
Mid range pull up jumpers could be key for him also
1980VT 02/11/25 09:09 AM ET
I think that the top 4 are clear, and your order is probably right.
win-tech 02/09/25 12:13 PM ET
My thoughts are similar but tiered
