I agree with you that the player movement will settle over time.

Once the schools have had an opportunity to get their hands around the process, including the establishment of contracts and multi year agreements. It will never go back to the days when transfer rules were prohibitive of such movement, but it will be better than what we have seen recently with full teams or close to full teams going into the portal. I do believe in time that the process will allow for some degree of roster planning.
