that what you have is going to significantly exceed who the school is perceived to be. One reason we have CMY and CBP is their understanding of who VT is vs who VT is perceived to be. Tony Bennett is doing it better but he is doing the same as most of his players would not start for most teams in the top 15 or so. Frank Beamer did the same. That "same" is understand, that the exciting big play blueblood talent is not standing in line to come here (or UVA) so go after players who are evaluated to have some strengths accumulate enough of them to play a style and win what you win and lose what you lose to the higher level of talent. In both the men and women, I watch and wish we had an adequate sized guard/wing who can put the ball on the floor and go strong in the paint and finish. But we don't so we do what we do best.
