I think one other thing that people don't seem to realize is...

how extremely HARD it is to win road games in conference. Winning any road game is hard ... winning conference road games is at least 10x harder. I mean, look at all of the top ranked road teams that lost on the road just last night! Think about it ... do you *really* think all those times the Dukes, UNCs, etc. came into Cassell and we beat them that we were the better team? No ... winning conference road games is just that hard, yet some people think that based on what they see over the course of a few random games that Tech should be able to roll the balls out and walk away with a win. It doesn't work like that.
