No, not to my knowledge.

He was definitely on the list. But one of my sources was talking to Dave Odom throughout the process, and Dave said that VT decided to go with Mike Young at the very end. But Ryan was very much on the list. I think Ballein was a major driving force with the Mike Young hire (and the Pry hire as well).
