Why do you feel the need to make such an ignorant comment?

He fulfilled his obligation to the University. Basketball scholarships are a 1-year proposition with the school having the decision on whether or not it is renewed for the next year. He showed up, redshirted (something most freshmen don't want to do), worked out, played practice dummy for the team and went through all of the rigors of a season knowing he would never get in a game. At the end of all that, it is likely that he sat down with CMY this week and was told that his prospects for ever playing meaningful minutes team were slim to none and that it would be in everyone's best interest for him to move on to greener pastures. You make it sound like he scammed the university. If anything, we scammed him!
