Yes but it’s easy to get hurt in those pick up games by some guy who # 1

doesn’t know how to play the game & # 2 is trying to be a BMOC by saying I took a charge from so & so etc. Not very smart. Elite athletes have nothing to gain from playing against guys who are no match for them. Steel sharpens steel.
