Maybe he didn't. But, since he's playing in the PIT, I would assume
to be recruited for an overseas playing gig, why would he NOT have wanted to play in the NIT? It would have presented him with another opportunity to be seen and evaluated. I don't know if he voted to play in the NIT or not. But, for a player in his situation, every opportunity to showcase his talents NOT taken is an opportunity missed. Strictly an opinion on my part. Do you know anything to the contrary?
