I'm with you. One of multiple reasons I don't watch anymore.

Most modern athletes playing men's basketball or football truly feel no tie or obligation to the school whose name is on the jersey they wear. That school is simply a means to a paycheck. Fine, if there are enough people still interested in watching that, more power to them - they can continue to fund this system. But I refuse to participate.
