If he is going to keep playing him, get him shooting closer to the basket &

then start backing him up when they go in. I asked a couple of college coaches once what do you do when a player gets the yips on the green. All of them said, get him to practice closer to the hole and then start backing him/her up when they start going in. I said this the last game, practicing with your eyes closed closer to the hole for those that have lost the feel. In other words their brain is going in the protection mode and it has to be shut down. The Marines and Navy Seals do this type of training too. They actually say, shut up your brain and just do it!
