Yes, they seem to be a juggernaut of late. Although, Louisville did have to

Travel to Durham on same day as game. Significant disadvantage on top of usual road team disadvantage. Duke beat SMU by 11 when they were without B. Miller. Duke has only lost one game by 1 vs Texas Tech at Cameron. So, VT winning Saturday is definitely an upset, but not crazy. VT is three fairly low percentage last shots by opponent that if don't go in VT is 8-1 in ACC and 19-3 overall. VT has not lost a game with full healthy squad. Avdalas is in confidence and pressing to do too much mental slump. Of late VT has been beating teams they should and losing games where they are underdog. I'd say VT is playing at maybe 75% of their potential if fully healthy and they haven't been near 100% since Lawal injury in Bahamas tournament. If VT can get TJ back and Avdalas can get past this mental wall, VT can be very good down the stretch and in Tournament play. ** Edited by vtox1 at 1/28/2026, 4:13:56 PM

Yeah +13 points at the line. That helps offset 9-32 from beyond the arc.**
