...never played, I had physical limitations, short (5'6") small hands, poor hand-eye coordination. Too small to play football in HS, 5'0" and 95#. Reached my full height in college but was otherwise light, maybe 12#. However I've weighed as much as 205#, now 165# which is a healthy weight for me. My sport is soccer which along w/hockey, basketball was derived. Skills are (obviously) different but basic concepts are the same. Still, I can't analyze a basketball game. I'm a soccer ref (30 years) and played off and. on from 1961- 1987. Ken Culnan (passed away) was in your class and a year ahead of me in HS, also played soccer.
