The stories from that time came as much from the assistants as anyone but Jim Weaver was never going to be able to hire another basketball coach with good options in his tenure. I think Whit Babcock was very lucky that Buzz Williams was looking to move right when he had an opening but there are still a lot of stories from Buzz's tenure and the current one that make a less than desirable spot in men's basketball for a lot of people in the industry.
