We started the season with a team of mostly unknowns.

That team proceeded to lose to every OOC opponent that had a pulse. Winning gets people interested. We didn't do it. People were talking about a winless ACC season. The minimal preseason interest managed to find an even lower level. Obviously we've turned it around, but we're still a midpack ACC team whose signature wins are against other midpack ACC teams and the archrival whose season was thrown into disarray by their coach unexpectedly bolting preseason. It's been cool to watch, but really not all that buzzworthy for the average fan. And Wednesday 9pm is absolutely a factor...as is "SMU?
