PER numbers highlight poor guard play...

PER really drops off after the first five players listed below, and you'll see no guards in those first five. I quite like Hammond, but of course, he's hurt now. Really happy for Rodney and how he has come on recently. I'm not sure why Schutt isn't doing more... probably poor PG play is hurting him. Rechsteiner and Young... rough. Toibu Lawal 21.7 Ryan Jones 20.7 Patrick Wessler 19.8 Mylyjael Poteat 18.4 Ben Burnham 16.5 Ben Hammond 11.5 Rodney Brown 10.6 Jaden Schutt 9.5 Tyler Johnson 9.4 Brandon Rechsteiner 6.7 Connor Serven 5.9 Jaydon Young 5.7 Conner Venable 3.4 Peter Carr -8 Here are the women's PER numbers. You'll see 13.3 is the lowest of those that have played meaningful minutes. All our men's guards are under 13.
