Rechsteiner was a 3-star by three of the four services.

247 had him a 4-star, but outside the top 100. Rivals had him at No. 131. In short, he was your basic ACC recruit. For what it's worth, the whole "Rechsteiner was beating him out" thing could easily have been smoke by VT to try and cover up the gambling thing while it got sorted out. I can't watch practices or scrimmages, so there's no way for me to know. He could be tremendously improved, or he could be the same guy. I have no idea.
