Huge difference between a bobcat and a catamount/cougar.

“Catamounts are usually about six feet long, bobcats range from 24 to almost 40 inches in length, including the tail. Catamounts can weight up to 200 pounds, while bobcats usually weigh between 16 and 24 pounds.” A 16 pound Bobcat is no threat unless you have a poodle. You don’t want to run into a 200 pound cat (Catamount/Cougar). You could be lunch.
