Maybe if you understood what was going on in his family you’d

Understand the challenges the kid was going through. Frankly he is given credit in my book for stepping away from his own dreams for a bit to take care of a family member. I guess it doesn’t take much courage to take pot shots at a kid representing VT anonymously online but I’d bet you would probably be more restrained on your comments in front of Maddox or his family. Given his selflessness in dealing with a family situation he probably doesn’t really care about what you think though.
