What is lost in the context here isn't "the NCAA denied a waiver to Virginia Tech"...that simply didn't happen and couldn't possibly happen at this stage in the year What is much more likely is that Efton Reid wanted to come to Virginia Tech but there was uncertainty around whether he would be eligible and so Virginia Tech (rightly) moved on The choice would have been between Efton Reid sitting out this season and VT playing Kidd at the 5 all year OR take Robbie Beran and let the development of the players determine the slots in the lineup ** Edited by GCHokie34 at 5/4/2023, 11:32:41 AM
