Many ways to be successful playing the game of basketball. But, my old high school coach (an English teacher), would tell us that everyone has to be reading the same book, on the same page, on the same paragraph, and interpret the same meaning of a word for the team to be successful. It didn't sink in back then to most of the team. When I started coaching the light went on for me.
