NIL gets you better players to coach but not better coaching. It's just throwing $ at the problem which is not a magic wand. Texas aTm through tons of money at Jimbo Fisher and into their programs. Meh. Jimbo gone and Brent left for Maryland. Yankees payroll is huge-they won 1 WS title this millennium. $ isn't the problem. Players have to ne managed (coached). These days, even with NIL $, coaches have to be excellent evaluators of talent out there in the market. Otherwise you throw good $ to players that don't pan out.
