He absolutely deserves starter minutes and I am fine with us starting him

but the flaw in your argument is that the most important aspect of those 3 games he started is how we played in the second half and how we finished. In the Syracuse game especially, we played like dog-water in the first half of that game. Now, I don't believe correlation is causation, so that didn't happen because Hammond started. Him getting starter minutes and being on the floor late in the game has absolutely contributed to our success. It's also worth pointing out that Lawal has returned to form and contributed in major ways to our last several games (while also not starting).

Hammond in the starting lineup has clearly changed our performance

The funny thing is there were some posts about Hammond that hammered him

You could see the potential last year

In last 12 games, Hammond has averaged 15 points per game.

I think you'll see Lawal instead of Gurdak more going forward...

I didn’t think the 1st half was nearly as bad as vs Wake, Cuse got lucky

Hansberry is a natural 4. Now if you're saying to play two 4s...

Hansberry, Lawal, and Neo are all 6’9, IMO our best lineup doesn’t have a 5**

Agree 100%. He has grown so much in one year. **
